A wonderful complement to more active yoga practices like Kundalini Yoga, this quiet, grounding practice is done completely on the floor, with the support of blocks, blankets and bolsters. Each posture is held for a number of minutes, which encourages release of physical tension while the mind dives into a deeply meditative state. Please dress in layers as the body tends to cool off during this practice. Beginners welcome; variations will be taught so that each students can work comfortably at their own level regardless of flexibility, body type, or yoga experience.
