One of the best ways to spend New Year’s Eve is in health and happiness: Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and chanting through midnight in the community of your spiritual family and loved ones at the Treehouse!

The numerology of 2020 is the number four. 4 is considered the first even number and the first “female” number. Four is associated with the stable, solid earth. We organize our space on the ground by 4 cardinal directions. Four traditional winds blow across the four corners of the world. Four pillars make an essential foundation, as is the square - and in many traditions, the square is the symbol for Earth Mother Goddess.

So we will take our last steps in 2019 and our first steps in 2020 in cooperation and honor of Mother Earth and start building the next foundation from which we can rise up and reach our infinity in the new year.

The practice is suitable for everyone including absolute beginners, so please bring your friends and family for the experience. The set is designed to build strong group energy slowly through movement, mantra, breath, rhythm, and dance, and to be easy enough for everyone to keep up and enjoy.  Warm-ups start at 9:30, and shortly before midnight, we will start the chant and gong meditation for the transition into 2019. Yogi Bhajan will be with us on video.

Please join us for this amazing night and charge your total self and others with new energy and joy. Our celebration works great on its own or as a preparation for a long night and anything that comes after. light  snacks, tea, (non-alcohol)  served.

For special classes and/or workshops where pre-registration is required:

• If you cancel at least 3 days prior to your workshop or series, you will receive a Hari NYC credit. Otherwise no credit can be given.

• If Hari NYC cancels a workshop or series, you will receive a full refund.
