Dear Wonderful People,

This is an invitation to all people of all levels of practice and experience, to meditate together, heal, and elevate your self and your loved ones. Now is a beautiful time to meditate and have the skills to hold yourself and others in peace and harmony. Find your true north from your inner wisdom and move forward with strength during these powerful times.

The level one teacher training is a program that will prepare you to teach, share and live kundalini yoga. Through our time together during the course you will have the opportunity to develop a strong foundation by building a powerful, humble, and effective practice. If you are ready to teach or if you want to expand your self knowledge, this course will support those intentions. We are here to grow with you.

Course details

In level one you will become an instructor and learn the foundational principles and practices of kundalini yoga. This is a 220 hour KRI course including the following:

  • Yogic philosophy, history of yoga, the ancient origins of kundalini yoga

  • Asana & kriya of kundalini yoga

  • Breathing techniques & meditation

  • Tools for mental, physical, and spiritual well-being

  • Scope of practice and responsibilities of a teacher

  • Eastern & western anatomy

  • Mantra & the science of sound

  • Nutrition & holistic lifestyle

  • Designing a practice that works for you

International students welcome. No in person attendance required.
For those who are local or would like to meet in person we would love to provide a Hybrid opportunity.

Meet the Team

Hari Kaur LEAD TRAINER is a master teacher of kundalini yoga and meditation. Hari is part of the first wave of yoga teachers that pioneered the teaching of kundalini yoga and meditation in the west. Hari studied Qi Gong with Chris Chen and teaches Qi Gong classes, She is known for love integration of music, art and poetry, and a humanitarian approach to yoga and meditation.

Hari directs and teaches kundalini classes and teacher trainings worldwide. She pioneered teaching Kundalini Yoga in high schools and hospitals and was the director and developer of Kundalini Yoga wellness programs at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the Greater Boston Area from 1988-2004, when she moved to NYC with her husband Dave.

Hari founded the Illumined Woman courses you empower women of all ages in 2004. She expertly curates wisdom that brings women healing and comfort and transformation. She consolidated the teachings of Kundalini Yoga for women in her two books: “A Woman’s Book of Meditation: Discovering the Power of a Peaceful Mind” (Penguin 2006) and as co-author with Machelle Seibel, MD -the first yoga book writing in collaboration with a Medical Doctor, “A Woman’s Book of Yoga: Embracing Our Natural Life Cycles” (Penguin 2002).
